OUR HISTORY

Founded in 1980, New Horizon Care Centers, Inc. (NHCC) is a multi-service organization that provides residential and outpatient substance use disorder treatment services, mental health counseling, and gambling treatment.

We specialize in co-occurring services, including pregnant and parenting women (PPW), men's treatment, and gambling services. To better meet the identified long-term needs of our patients, we also offer low-income housing for women and men.

Our Mission

NHCC honors the dignity of all persons and provides tailored, nurturing care to those suffering from substance use disorders, violence, homelessness, and mental illness.

We view substance use disorders as a chronic, systemic, progressive and, when left untreated, fatal condition. Therefore, we offer promise, hope, and the courage to set realistic goals, while also working to strengthen each client's self-confidence and self-esteem.
